Environmental
At Plasma-Therm®, we are committed to preserving the environment. This commitment is underscored by a recent revision to our corporate environmental policy that calls for increased focus and resources applied to our environmental protection protocols.
- We abide by all U.S., state, and local laws pertaining to environmental activities, including incidents. Although we are not ISO 14000 certified, we are compliant with all aspects of the certification.
- We commit to publicly disclosing fines and penalties related to environmental activities, if and when they arise.
- We provide education and training to ensure our employees have appropriate knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal standards, and the organization’s social and environmental policies and objectives.
- We ensure that any persons performing tasks for us or on our behalf which have the potential to cause a significant environmental impact will be trained and records will be kept. This will be reviewed on a periodic basis.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of our employees is paramount. When it comes to health, we have a company-wide health and wellness program that ranges from dietary counseling to an in-house fitness center and competitive wellness activities.
In terms of workplace safety, our safety program includes monthly safety measures, countermeasures, and annual training on a wide variety of safety topics. Additionally, we use outside services to help audit and create ever-increasing safety standards.
EEO and Ethics
Teamwork and equal opportunity are the foundation on which our company was built. We will continue to be successful when employees are allowed to advance and achieve their full potential. We are proud that we extend equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
We work hard to promote the fulfillment of human potential and equal employment. We are committed to hiring, employing, and promoting all qualified minorities, women, veterans, and disabled persons.
All aspects of employment, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, selection for training, promotion, demotion, discipline, rates of pay or other compensation, transfer, layoff, termination, recall, use of all facilities, and participation in all company-sponsored activities, will be administered in accordance with the principles of equal employment opportunity.
If an employee suspects misconduct/violations of ethical business standards, an employee may seek information/clarification or file a report with Human Resources. We expect any information filed in a report is accurate, honest, and forthright to the best of the employee’s knowledge and is submitted in good faith. We are committed to keeping all submitted reports confidential.
